About us

Welcome to Smilebolt. At Smilebolt , our concern is to equip you with “Knowledge and Skills” as enshrined in our Motto. We are committed to achieving the highest results possible. Also, we teach our students morality and social responsibilities. Our staff are carefully chosen, all having the required Qualifications that match what they teach. The concept and idea of Smilebolt has been in existence since the year 1996 when the director was a classroom teacher at Government Technical College Port Harcourt, after which the process of selecting the needed trades and vocation in preparation for effective teaching and learning followed years after. Smilebolt will commence its full academic operation in September 2024. The school will be facilitating international, national and state examinations as part of its academic curriculum with reference to:

⦁ Craftsmanship (from the state)
⦁ WAEC (West African Examination Council)

Admissions

Smilebolt offers admission into prevocational one (basic Seven) for 2024/2025 school year. Our inclusive policy on admission is without prejudice on sex and ethnic background, intending candidates MUST not be less than nine years and not more than thirteen years old in September 2024. To qualify for admission, the following procedures should be followed:

⦁ A non-refundable Ten thousand Naira only (N10, 000.00) is to be paid for application form into the school account.
⦁ Application forms are obtained either from the school or click on this link to login to the website to purchase the form online. ……
⦁ Computer base test in English, Mathematics, Quantitative, Aptitude and General paper will be conducted on the 10th of August, 2024. While the 2nd batch of entrance examination will be conducted on the 17th of August, 2024 for those who are not computer literate.
⦁ Successful candidates in the company of their parents or guardians will be given letter of provisional admission and other forms to be filled.
⦁ Payment of fee/levies into the school account will be made before resumption, otherwise the provisional admission stands cancelled.
⦁ Filled forms, bank tellers and any other evidence of payment are to be submitted to the school, after which necessary teaching and learning materials including uniforms, safety wears, laptops and basic books are to be collected from the school.

Exam instructions

BEFORE BEGINNING THE EXAM
1. Make sure you have a good internet connection.
2. Log out of Exam engine and then back in to Exam engine before you begin. This will help with connectivity issues.
3. If you are taking the exam late in the day, it is recommended that you reboot your computer before beginning to free up memory resources from other programs on your computer.
4. Shut down all Instant Messaging tools (Skype, AIM, MSN Messenger) and Email programs as they can conflict with Exam engine.
5. Enter the Exam engine course using Firefox. Do not use any other internet browser.
6. Maximize your browser window before starting the test. Minimizing the browser window during the exam can prevent the submission of your exam.
7. When you begin the exam click the link only ONCE to launch the test. Double clicking can lock the test.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING THE EXAM
1. Read the notes above titled “Before beginning the exam” and “During the exam.”
2. Your instructor will provide your password. This password is required to open the exam.
3. Log in to the Exam engine course.
a. Do not begin until you are absolutely ready to start!
6. Use the login details given to you to open the exam.
7. You will have 1.5 hours to complete your exam.
8. The exam must be completed in one sitting. You can only open it once.
9. Answer all questions in the exam.
10. Click the “Submit” button in the bottom right corner when you are done to submit your work.
If you encounter problems accessing or submitting your exam, you must contact your instructor immediately ..
DURING THE EXAM:
1. Do not resize (minimize) the browser during the test.
2. Never click the “Back” button on the browser. This will take you out of the test and prevent Exam engine from tracking your selected answers.
3. Avoid using the scroll button on your mouse if present.
4. Click the “Submit” button to submit your exam. Do not press “Enter” on the keyboard to submit the exam.
5. Save your test using the “Save” button periodically during the exam.
