Course Overview
AI agents are a complex subject, but they can be used in so many important ways. In this course, Generative AI Foundations: Agentic AI, you’ll learn about AI agents and how they can be used to perform tasks on your behalf. First, you’ll explore the core characteristics of AI agents. Next, you’ll discover the business value of agents. Finally, you’ll learn how to identify business scenarios where agents can give you a unique advantage. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of AI agents needed to successfully implement them in your business life.
Course prerequisites
- Basic understanding of AI/ML (difference between AI, ML, DL)
- Awareness of what large language models (LLMs) are (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA)
- Familiarity with modern AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Midjourney, etc.)
- Basic Python programming (variables, functions, imports, virtual environments)
- Experience working with APIs (HTTP requests, JSON responses)
